Pair without the box next to you
CarBox ADB key: remote pre-authorization.
If the box is not physically with you, you can still authorize your PC in advance. Control Center generates a dedicated RSA key: you export only the public key, send it to whoever has the box, they import it in CarBox Launcher, and from that moment your PC connects over Wi-Fi with no popup, no QR, no code.
Generate the key on the PC
Open Control Center → Settings → "CarBox ADB Key" section → GENERATE KEY. A private RSA pair is created just for you. The private key never leaves the PC.
Export the public key
Press EXPORT PUBLIC to save CarBox_Control_Center_ADB_Key.pub, or COPY TO CLIPBOARD. Send it via email, chat or cloud to whoever has the box.
Import it on the box
On the box: CarBox Launcher → Settings → Debug → Import Control Center key → pick the file. The fingerprint shown must match the one in your Control Center.
Connect whenever you want
When PC and box are on the same network, press FIND CARBOX BOX in Control Center: the LAN scan recognizes your box, connects automatically and assigns the BOX role. No authorization popup on the box.
Security: the private key stays only on your PC, isolated from the user's global ADB key. ADB RSA security remains active: box and Control Center accept only explicitly authorized keys. You can revoke access at any time from the "Authorized keys" list in CarBox Launcher.
